KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The Borden brand is commemorating its150th anniversary with an exhibition at the State Fair of Texas, Sept. 28–Oct. 21, 2007. At Elsie’s Place, located at the Food & Fiber Pavilion, visitors can meet Elsie the Cow—one of Advertising Age’s top 10 advertising icons of all time—and take home money-saving coupons for Borden® Spreadable Butter and Borden® Cheese Singles.

Founded in 1886, the State Fair of Texas is a 24–day celebration of entertainment, exhibits, and competition held in Dallas at the historic Fair Park. Also known as the “Fried Food Capital of Texas,” the State Fair annually attracts more than 3 million people. Highlights include the Big Tex Choice Awards contest, the World Corny Dog Championship, concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage, football games played in the Cotton Bowl, and Big Tex, a 52-foot cowboy figure erected in the center of the grounds. The State Fair of Texas will be open daily; exhibit hours are 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
